Introduction

Is your life unhappy? Are you unhappy with your life and want to change it? This book will solve all your problems if you answer yes.

There is nothing like this book that you have ever read before. In this book, you will be taken back to the basics of human nature. There is no worksheet here that will help you be active for a few weeks then go back to your old ways.

Once you read it, you will never be the same. Perhaps you're wondering why? You will learn the art of living. While staying connected with others, you will learn how important it is to find your own path. Success doesn't always require isolation. We need to be kinder to one another. Being clear about who we are and who we are trying to become is essential.

In addition to teaching you some key values, this book also teaches you how to say no, as well as when and how to worry. A journal and waking up early will also be taught as practical tricks.

Join us on this journey of knowledge and motivational stories if you are looking for real change.

Discover Your Calling

Do you ever feel like your life is passing you by? Have you ever felt like you don't even notice how you spent your days and weeks? Have you ever felt like your life has no meaning? You need that something to make you feel good, don't you?

We are disconnected from each other, which is why our lives have lost their meaning. Despite living in different parts of the world, we are able to see each other. We can talk over the phone and chat online. Even so, we feel more alone than ever before. We are lonely because we have lost our calling. Don't worry if you feel lost, you can change.

Finding your calling doesn't require you to quit your job or pursue a new endeavor. Doing your best in everything you do can help you find your purpose. Become the change you want to see in the world and stop waiting for others to do your part of the job.

Maintain Your Perspective

The key to living a happy life is to focus on your own perspective. It is common for us to feel as if our world is falling apart when we are faced with a difficult situation. The whole problem will seem less horrifying if we just change the way we look at it.

This galaxy is vast, and we are but a tiny part of it. We are only small pieces playing our part in the circle of life if we take a closer look at the world around us. So what's the point of having a gloomy outlook? You'll be happiest if you enjoy every moment as it comes. One day, two patients shared a hospital room. The one had a bed next to a window, and the other had a normal bed.

Since the patient was unable to move, his friend acted as his eyes in the room. As the patient with the window looked through the window, he described the scene he saw to the bedridden man.

Trees and leaves dancing on their branches would be described by him. He sometimes described what people were doing outside. A new adventure awaited each day.

He grew jealous of his friend as he lay in bed. His friend could see the outside world while he could not. After a while, he began to dislike his friend and then stories. The bedridden man kept doing this until the day he decided he hated his friend.

The patient next to the window started coughing one night. He stopped breathing after coughing for a while. The bedridden man chose not to call for doctors. He lost a friend. Bedridden man requested to be moved to the window bed after the body of the patient was removed from the room. Seeing the beautiful view for the first time was so exciting to him.

The only thing he could see through the window was a brick wall. His friend was imagining things only to make him feel better. He was so loved by his friend. Despite his bedridden condition, the bedridden man and his friend would have enjoyed sharing more beautiful memories if he had not envied his friend. He regrets what he did now deeply.

Practice Tough Love

Discipline is the key to every successful story. To achieve your big goals, you have to be prepared to do whatever it takes every day. It's important to push through. Discipline has that power.

Tough love is also known as discipline. When you see the results of tough love, you will be pleasantly surprised. Rather than always following through, it is better to control your life and live it on your own terms. According to Aristotle, men learn by doing. Our goals are less important than the choices we make to achieve them.

A man can become a builder by practicing every day, for example. We would be living a life without meaning if we just did what life told us to do. However, if we control our acts, then we control our lives and our futures.

Keep a Journal

Journaling has changed the lives of many successful people. Many claim that their success would be impossible if they didn't keep a journal.

What's the reason? You will gain a deeper understanding of your experiences if you keep a journal. Your day will reveal the lessons you have learned and the mistakes you should avoid.

Consider your journal as a daily one-on-one conversation with yourself. By doing this, you will be able to better understand yourself and the world around you.

Keeping a journal is different from keeping a diary. When you keep a diary, you only record what happens in your daily life, but when you keep a journal, you analyze every aspect of what happens in your daily life.

Journaling has even been proven to be beneficial by medical research. Keeping a journal for 15 minutes a day is enough to improve your health and performance.

Hence, starting today, try to write in your journal even for a few minutes. Life is certainly worth writing about if you believe it's worth living.

Develop an Honesty Philosophy

It is common for people to say words that they don't intend to keep. They promise you a lot, but they don't follow through. It makes you feel disappointed. There is a feeling of no longer being able to trust that person.

There are times when we even make promises to ourselves that we don't keep. It is a promise we make to ourselves that we will change this year, do better today, or work harder tomorrow. Nothing changes tomorrow. Honesty is the key to credibility. A lack of trust among people weakens and instabilizes connections.

Try keeping your promises for a week in order to keep your word. Whatever you say can become a law that cannot be broken. You should be honest with yourself and with others. Honesty is a habit that is built every time you say something truthful.

Honor Your Past

People often make the mistake of living in the past. It is impossible for them to forget the bad things that have happened to them, so they spend their present feeling sad about their misery.

It is not a good idea to live in the past. You will miss a lot of good things happening today if you keep thinking about those old memories. Today is the only day you have. You belong in the present, not in the past. Your past can be viewed as lessons you learned to survive. Every obstacle teaches us something. Rather than feeling sad about your past, be smart and learn from it.

You can also look at your hard times as opportunities. What can be done to turn misery into an opportunity? There is an easy answer to this question. The bigger picture is all you need to see.

Consider your past as a blessing. Your life is trying to prepare you to be strong enough to handle the great future you have ahead of you. Would you be ready for a great future if you had no experience to prepare you? It would be a waste of time.

Failure is part of the learning process. Being brave is always better than being weak. Even if you don't succeed, it doesn't matter. You will grow as long as you keep trying and experiencing new things. Keep living stronger in the present while honoring your past.

Start Your Day Well

Are you aware that the first 30 minutes of your day are very important? What you do and think right after you wake up can determine how your day goes.

Your life will change completely if you start your day well. It is important to establish a morning ritual. Every morning, you must remind yourself of your life's purpose. Every day, write down your goals and visualize them. You can also exercise or read. Do the things that make you feel empowered and great.

Consider mountain climbers as an example. It is their goal to reach the summit. To achieve their goal, they must first establish a base camp. Without a base where they can rest and recharge, they cannot climb a mountain.

Once their base camp is ready, the mountain climbers begin their adventure. As soon as they reach camp one, they return to the base in order to rest and regain strength. As soon as they feel strong enough, they continue on their journey.

Imagine your life as a mountain. To achieve a goal, you need a strong base. Our dreams are not easy to achieve, we need to stay focused and strong.

You can achieve greatness by using your morning as your base. Start your day well if you don't want to stray from your path.

Learn To Say No Gracefully

It can be difficult for some people to say no. It is hard for them to turn down anyone's request, so they do a lot for a lot of people. Doing things for other people is also good, as is being kind.

Saying yes to everything results in a lot of work done for other people but none for you. Your own goals seem to be lost in the shuffle. When your priorities and goals are unclear, you will keep saying yes to other things. You will be helping other people achieve their dreams while forgetting your own. It's unfair.

The blacksmith who forged swords for the maharaja used to work for a blacksmith. He was known for his excellent work in the field. At the age of ninety, the blacksmith is still making the best swords he has ever made.

Getting curious, the maharaja asked the blacksmith what his secret was. Did he inherit this talent or did he work hard to develop it? Could there be another secret that no one knows about?

A simple answer was given by the blacksmith. Concentration on the most important thing is the key to making excellent results, he told the maharaja. When he was 21, the blacksmith began learning how to forge swords. The blacksmith did not care about anything else but his work despite being young.

Focus is the key to achieving great results. You must be prepared to say no to a lot of other things if you want something badly enough. Organize yourself and you will leave the legacy you have always been destined to leave.

Take a Weekly Sabbatical

The seventh day of the week used to be a day for family or relaxation. As a result of our busy schedules, we have forgotten this ritual.

We start each week with a list of things that need to be done, and we don't stop until the following week. There are times when we even forget to count the minutes. Life goes on week in and week out.

It must be good for productivity, but not for living. Take a day off to do the things you love. It's time for you to take a break and think for yourself.

Enjoy a trip to your favorite bookstore or just watch the sunset. The sky is the limit when it comes to what you can do. Try to find a time where you can breathe and think, or simply lie down peacefully. That's what you deserve.

Talk to Yourself

Are you aware that the human mind is one of the most powerful tools in the world? You can shape your reality exactly as you think with your brain. You can even change your life by the way you talk to yourself.

The importance of communication in our daily lives cannot be overstated. Our words have a great impact on our daily lives, so we need to be aware of what we say to ourselves and to others. Focus on your self-talk. You will be tired for the rest of your life if you say "I am tired" all day long.

You can achieve great things by saying positive things that empower you. For a month, you can focus on one phrase. Repeat this phrase all day long for a period of time. It's impossible to waver or stop.

Say you want to be more confident. Repeat a phrase like "I am confident" all day long. As time goes on, you will notice that your words are changing your reality.

You can achieve the best results with them. When you are done with a phrase and a goal, move on to the next. The more you use your inner dialogue to change your world, the more you will achieve. Just talk to yourself, and talk well.

Schedule Worry Breaks

As a result of living in a very busy world, we are constantly worried. We worry about paying our rent, getting that promotion, and getting out of a particular situation. Life usually finds a way to solve problems. There are times when the problems we worry about never materialize.

We have big dreams, yes. It's true that we have busy schedules. However, this doesn't mean we have to stop living and keep worrying about everything.

In his story, Robin Sharma discusses how worrying can be harmful. He recalls a time when he was very busy. His dreams were big, and he worked hard to achieve them.

After completing his law degree, he worked as a clerk for a Chief Justice. Robin was satisfied with his progress. Throughout his life, he felt like he was riding a success train.

As a result of working so hard, Robin became exhausted. Every Monday morning, he would wake up depressed and bored.

It felt like he was wasting his energy. He felt disconnected from his job and wanted a change. As a result, Robin began reading books that might help him solve the problem.

A simple trick was taught to him. Let all your worries out at once at a specific time. It may only take half an hour a day. You can worry as much as you like during this time. After that, you must stay happy and worry-free.

Don't let your worries ruin your productive day. Write it all down on a piece of paper. If you keep worrying about everything, you will never be able to enjoy life fully.

Learn To Be Silent

It may seem that "learn to be silent" means that you should stop talking. That's not the kind of silence we're looking for. You will learn the power of solitude in this chapter.

There are people who are very social and there are people who are not. We all need a break from our noisy lives. Take some time to rethink, restore, and reconnect with yourself.

Many people lose track of who they are as they age. As a result, they forget that they exist because they are too focused on life. They forget that they exist as a mind, soul, and body.

There was once a lighthouse keeper living by the sea. By providing light at night, he guides ships through rocky shores. There was very little oil left for the keeper.

A man visited the lighthouse one night. He asked for some oil. He said he lives alone and needs some light to see in the dark. The lighthouse keeper gave the man some oil.

A traveler visited the lighthouse keeper another night. In order to keep travelling, he said he needs oil to light his lamp. The lighthouse keeper agreed to help the traveller and gave him some oil.

The next night, a woman knocked on the lighthouse's door. Her children are small, and she needs light to feed them at night.

She felt sorry for the lighthouse keeper. Again, he gave the woman some of the remaining oil.

All the oil was gone before he noticed. It was impossible for the keeper to light his beacon.

A disaster occurred the following night. The ships that came that night all hit the rocks. Due to the light keeper's mistake, many lives were lost.

You may think he wasn't wrong. All he did was help others. It was the lighthouse keeper's mistake to forget his priority.

Despite being responsible for protecting the ships, he ended up giving his oil instead. It is possible that you will experience the same thing in your life. There may be a lot on your mind. Your busy schedule makes you forget what you really want to accomplish.

It is important to always remember your goals and who you are at your core. You can sort things out by taking a break. You can gain a clear perspective when you are alone. Take some time to think clearly and be silent.

Get Up Early

We discussed the importance of your first 30 minutes in a previous chapter. Spend this time doing the things you love and the things that will give you the power to be very productive.

Getting up early is also important. You will notice a dramatic change in your life if you start waking up at 5 am. If you have more time, you can read or write what you love.

You need to sleep better if you want to wake up early. It's not about more, but about better. Sleep quality is more important than quantity.

Occasionally, you wake up well-rested after sleeping uninterrupted for 5 or 6 hours. Sleeping ten hours and waking up three times is not a good night's sleep.

In order to sleep better, you should avoid replaying your day before bedtime. Many people fall into this habit, but it's not productive.

After 8 p.m., you must stop eating. The stomach will disturb your sleep if you eat late at night. You should also avoid watching the news and working in bed.

You will be able to wake up early once you start sleeping better. It may be difficult at first, but be patient. It always takes time for good things to happen. You will soon be used to waking up at 5AM and having a good morning ritual.
